1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Resident Inspect (“Resident Inspect,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using our website (residentinspect.com), mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Overview of Services
Resident Inspect provides technology solutions that allow property managers, landlords, and residents to conduct, coordinate, and document live and virtual property inspections (“Services”).
Our Services include, but are not limited to:
- Virtual property inspections and coordination/scheduling of those inspections
- Secure data collection and storage of inspection reports, photos, and videos
- Digital forms, addendums, and resident scheduling tools
- Integration capabilities with third-party property management software
Resident Inspect acts as a software provider and virtual service provide—not a property manager, certified home inspector, or legal representative.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to access the Platform.
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
- You will use the Platform for lawful purposes; and
- You will comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
4. Account Registration & Security
To access certain features, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration;
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- Immediately notify Resident Inspect of unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Resident Inspect is not responsible for loss or damage caused by unauthorized account access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Violate any law or regulation;
- Transmit false, misleading, or harmful content;
- Attempt to access systems or data without authorization;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
- Collect or store information about other users without consent.
Resident Inspect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Data Privacy & Security
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.
Resident Inspect implements commercially reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute data security.
By using our Services, you consent to data collection and processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. SMS and Text Messaging
Resident Inspect, LLC send messages to users (Tenants, Property Managers, Landlords) regarding scheduled appointments, scheduling your required inspection, Appointment reminders, and activities related to providing the inspection service.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the 904-202-1102.
After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to
confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS
messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we
will start sending SMS messages to you again.
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the
keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at HELP@ResidentInspect.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us
and to us from you. You will receive [message frequency]. If you have any questions
about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Platform—including text, graphics, logos, software, videos, and reports—is the exclusive property of Resident Inspect or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any material on the Platform without prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Services & Integrations
Resident Inspect may include links or integrations with third-party services (e.g., property management platforms or payment processors).
We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of third-party websites or providers.
Use of third-party tools is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Resident Inspect provides the Platform and Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Platform for your specific needs.
You acknowledge that:
- Technical interruptions or delays may occur;
- Inspection outcomes depend on user input and environment conditions;
- Resident Inspect is not responsible for errors, omissions, or third-party service issues.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resident Inspect and its officers, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill;
- Service interruptions or technical errors.
Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) by you to Resident Inspect for use of the Platform within the preceding 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resident Inspect, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your:
- Violation of these Terms;
- Misuse of the Platform;
- Breach of applicable laws or regulations.
12. Changes to Terms
Resident Inspect reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time.
We will post the revised Terms with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Duval County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
